20"x28" Pastel portrait painting of a young woman donning a brown beach hat and plaid scarf. Highlights of this composition include the folding and soft visual texture of the reddish-orange scarf, folds and stitching in the underlying sweatshirt, shading and stitching of the hat, and the stunning, gently weathered face framed by the hat, scarf, and hair; however, the most significant highlight is arguably the intense, piercing gaze emanating from within her soul through the bluish eyes.
